Okay, so there's this truly awesome game called Portal. The game is very different from your average shooter, and the script writing is VERY WELL DONE. I guarantee this game will make you laugh more than once, and besides that, it's damn fun. If you have a PC that can handle Half-Life 2, GET THE ORANGE BOX!
Anyway, if you've played the game, then you have to watch this. It's pretty funny if you understand all the inside jokes. I imagine its not quite as funny without having played the game:

How ironic; Chuck, my American coworker, has been talking about "Portal" and what a cool game it is. This video has me even more intrigued.
I haven't really been into games lately, but I might look for this one. I don't know if I can run it on this machine, though...stupid SiS chipset...
If you buy it, I recommend the "Orange Box", which has 5 games in one box for a reasonable price (I think I paid $50). You HAVE to have a broadband connection, because Valve uses "Steam", which validates your game online every time you play. That's both a blessing and a curse.
The humor in this game is very much our humor. I think you would enjoy it.
Dude, you should get a Dell! I just bought two Dell XPS machines, and they are friggen awesome.
