LASIK at home... Really?

OMG, this can't be for real. I'm scared enough as it is, regarding LASIK, and though I'd love to be contact/glasses-free, I'm not quite ready for LASIK. This home kit (if this isn't a joke, which I suspect it is), is too much.

The "How to" cartoon (above, but better seen here) shows how its done in "Four Easy Steps". Find a place without distractions? Yeah, THAT sounds promising.

FFFFVVVTT!! "Ouch!! Gol' danged phone!! Now I'm friggin' blind!!"

My favorite part of the cartoon, is the last frame, where it shows you enjoying all the benefits of perfect vision... including standing next to a target on an archery range!! LOL

Oh, and "Perform the painless procedure" has a footnote that reads "This statement has not been evaluated by the FDA" I think I'm going to order this kit right away!! For $100, its worth the risk of messing up my eyes!!

UPDATE: Okay, I did some searching, and found a link that explains that this is a hoax. Still pretty funny though!

Sounds like a healthy dose of Havidol is required before using this surgery.

That's odd. Your link links back to this comment. Was that intentional?

Nevermind - I found the website for Havidol, and now I understand. :-)

"Yes, use the LASIK instant home eye repair kit, and you, too can be a target!

Warning: Possible side effects include becoming a Frenchman, thinking you're Captain Biggles..."

wacky, I swear I had the website right. I must be getting funky in my old age.

I've actually had the exact thing happen to me before too. I wonder if there is a bug in the blogger code that sometimes puts the current page in as the link you provide. I can't imagine how that would happen though. Seeing as I'm not much younger than you, I'm probably also getting wacky. ... or was that funky?

Whether you're new to paid advertising or a pay-per-click (PPC) veteran, Google's smart campaigns can be your best friend. The rapid advancements in artificial intelligence technology at the heart of Google Ads make PPC marketing an entirely different beast, one that may be easier to tame in 2021.https://latestcontentgoogle.blogspot.com/2020/08/heating-replacement.html
